Remember the charity event I told you I was going to over the weekend?  Well, it was one of the best events and weekends I have had in a long time!  I hope to share some of the photog's pics with you soon so you can see how my outfit turned out and how beautiful everything was.  In the meantime, my phone contract ended and my blackberry broke last week, so I FINALLY joined the rest of the world in getting an iPhone!!!!!!  And of course, one of the first things I did was sign up for Instagram!!!!  So you can now follow Concierge Couture with a more personal look into my everyday via fun pics.  Just click on the snapshot on the right sidebar to follow me.  Are you as giddy as I am?!  Because I am pretty freaking excited!!!!!

Fashion Concierge: Spring Black

Instead of buying a new dress for an upcoming cocktail party, I decided to makeover a dress from my closet.  I chose this black Lilly Pulitzer peplum dress that I wore for the holidays and updated the look with my favorite spring trends: coral studs, cork clutch, tribal bangles, patent espadrilles and coral polish.  I am loving black with a spring twist!  Do you have a black dress in your closet you would like to makeover?

Reading Rainbow: Fifty Shades Of Grey Trilogy

I first heard about "Fifty Shades of Grey" by E.L. James over the weekend when I was enjoying an afternoon at the pool with my girlfriends.  We saw a lady lounging nearby, who was drinking a glass of chardonnay while reading the saucy novel.  Then I watched the author's humble, blushing interview on The Today Show this morning and immediately bumped the trilogy to the top of my summer reading list.  So I'm curious, have you read it, will you read it... or could you give two hoots?       

Baby Concierge: Best Baptism Dress

When I was looking for a baptism dress for my daughter, I found an adorable Etsy shop called Itty Bitty Couture.  The shop owner, Martha, makes precious handmade smock dresses for babies and toddlers.  She offers a few different styles, patterns and colors - all light and airy, perfect for the heat! - but my favorite is the Sarah Jane Dress. The flutter sleeves and pink and mint green stitching had me at hello.  Thanks again, Martha! xo
